One of the best things about Surrey is its diverse range of leisure activities and this August bank holiday weekend’s line-up of things to do, will not disappoint. There really is something for everyone; art exhibitions, concerts, walks and places to visit. So here are our favourite picks of things to do over the bank holiday weekend:
 
The BBC Good Food Festival is holding a fabulous weekend of everything food at Hampton Court Palace. This event starts on Friday 29 August will run over the three day weekend. Visitors will be able to buy a selection of artisanal products, and there is a fantastic line up of celebrity cooks such as the Great British bake off’s Paul Hollywood and French chef Michel Roux Jr, as well as many more. Why not visit the Egham Royal Show on either Saturday or Sunday, which brings together a diverse variety of horticultural and agricultural themes as well as having fairground rides, tombola, Punch and Judy shows, and a bouncy caste and much more.
