Investment in our staff

At Goodfellows we believe that proper training and investment in our staff will benefit everyone – from the individual themselves, to our buyers and sellers. All our lettings staff are trained which specifically includes ARLA training.

ARLA  (Association of Residential Letting Agents) is the industry recognised body and their guidelines and standards are those which all Letting Agencies and Negotiators should want to work towards and in line with. All members are qualified professionals and must follow a strict code of conduct.

Russell Barling, Lettings Manager at Mitcham, had this to say about his recent experience of the exam;

“To gain qualification we must pass four different modular exams lasting one hour each. The questions are in multiple choice format but don’t let that fool you into thinking that it is easy to pass, the questions are specifically worded to make you think carefully about them and they can 'trip you up'.

The training manual provided by Goodfellows is up-to-date and supplied in turn by ARLA, so there won’t be any questions in the exams that aren’t covered in the training manual.  All the ARLA qualified staff in Goodfellows are available to answer questions/queries and with their help and the study time I put in were the reasons I achieved a 100% pass mark in my first exam.”

We wish all our staff the best of luck with their exams and look forward to developing our team further.
