If you are a first-time buyer but struggling to save for a deposit, Skipton Building Society have just launched an exciting new product, the Skipton Track Record Mortgage. Our partner Embrace Financial Services are working with Skipton to offer this mortgage to those who fit the criteria.

This new 100% mortgage requires no deposit aims to help first-time buyers buy your first home.

With the cost of living and house prices being at an all time high, it can feel impossible to pay rent AND save for a large deposit. This mortgage could be your lifeline - paying your own mortgage instead of your landlords but without the large deposit.

Skipton Track Record Mortgage Eligibility

  • Each applicant must be a first-time buyer
  • Each applicant must be aged 21 or over
  • You have less than a 5% deposit
  • Each applicant has no missed payments on debts/credit commitments (e.g. mobile phone bill) over the last 6 months
  • You want to borrow up to £600,000
  • You have proof of having paid at least 12 months' rent in a row, during the last 18 months
  • You must also have experience of paying all household bills (e.g utility bills, council tax etc) for at least 12 months in a row, during the last 18 months.

“With only very limited options to borrow with less than 5% deposit or no deposit at all, or without help from friends and family, Track Record mortgages could be the solution many First Time Buyers have been searching for.”  Charlotte Harrison, CEO - Home Financing , Skipton Building Society
