Beautiful historical places to visit this Mother’s Day in Surrey and SW London…

Mother’s Day falls on the 26th of March this year, and if you are looking for some ideas on where to take your Mum here are three of our favourite historical places:

Painshill - Free entry for Mum’s on Mother’s Day when accompanied by their children

Painshill Park in Cobham, as it has one of the most diverse collections of 18th Century follies in the UK, including the recently restored Crystal Grotto. Your Mum will find it hard not to be dazzled by the hundreds and thousands of crystals, including calcite, gypsum, quartz and fluorite. After enjoying a stroll around the grounds treat your Mum to a cream tea and a glass of Painshill Sparkling Wine.
