Celebrate world book night in this impressive house with library

Each year on the 23rd of April we celebrate the annual world book night, organised by UNESCO to promote reading around the globe. It’s a night when people around the world participate in the enjoyment of books. This is in addition to World Book day held earlier in the year.

So to help celebrate this yearly tradition we thought we would showcase this impressively large, four bedroom house which come with a study for a good read.

The property, which is imposing, is found behind a wide frontage with entrance gates, the front set of which are electrically operated, and high hedging. The gardens surround the house and the front is as usable as the side or back.

Internally, the layout is spacious with multiple reception rooms including sitting room, dining room, family room and conservatory. In addition there is a useful study off the conservatory and a utility room adjacent to the kitchen. The décor of each room is stunning; the overall effect is sumptuous and rich but at the same time beautifully light and airy with an inviting ambience. Friends and family will adore the spacious conservatory which offers views over the garden perfect with the French doors flung open on a summers evening or soaking up the sun on chillier days. The kitchen has a charming country influence and plenty of workspace with the long sweeping surfaces. French doors lead out on to the garden.

Heading upstairs one finds the four double sized bedrooms, en-suite bathroom, the family bath/shower room and separate WC. All of the bedrooms benefit from fitted wardrobes and are currently cleverly decorated by matching the wallpaper with the vendors curtaining.

The garden wraps around the house and is mainly laid to lawn with mature trees and shrubbery. There are pleasant niches in which to sit and relax. In particular, the patio set adjacent to the walls of the house offers a secluded area for barbeques and alfresco dining, whilst a smaller patio under the pergola gives views over the rest of the garden and house. This is a garden for relaxation, being perfectly proportioned to avoid hours of gardening during those precious weekends. Price £1,150,000.
