Help your dad develop his Men’s Den this Father’s day

Apparently the average dad in Britain spends four hours a week as a taxi driver, 27 days a year on DIY duties and if you put a price on the number of spiders he's cleared for you …the uncovered true cost of fatherhood if it came with a salary, could be as much as £67,000 p.a. So how about celebrating all that hard work this Sunday 18th June with helping him plan or decorate his very own Men’s Den.

Every man dreams of having his own Man Cave or Man Sanctuary, or Men’s Den….a place in the home where he can do as he pleases (at least in the home decorating sense!).  Have you got room to dedicate a space, convert a garage or build a shed for a Men’s Den?  Perhaps you can help your hubbie / Dad draw-up plans for some of the essentials of a perfect Men’s Den.

Right up the top of Men’s Dens requirements is plenty of comfy lounging areas with sofa covers that won’t care about stains, then there is a drinks cabinet or bar area, what’s a men’s den without a place to store your collection of limited edition scotches or prized beer glasses?  Then there is the wall of fame, a place to display your montage of signed sporting memorabilia and photographs, maybe even a trophy or two.

Many a man cave is used as a retreat to watch sporting events late into the night so a big TV could be important. If playing games with his mates is more part of his DNA perhaps making space for a billiards table or a pool table would be good.  For some fun ideas for presents from the kids TK Maxx have some great Men’s Dens Accessories.
