Hold onto your hats! - Royal Ascot

Royal Ascot is a showcase of style. Broadcast worldwide, it’s as much about the fashion industry as the horses and jockeys.  With a strict dress code for each enclosure, the eyes of the world are on the latest hat and dress designs, where tradition meets elegance and sophistication.
Gentlemen in the Royal Enclosure will wear top hats with their morning dress, along with waistcoats and ties, and black shoes.  Ladies have a little more choice, but guidelines regarding dress length and shoulder straps must be adhered to.
Royal Ascot begins on Tuesday 14th June and is Britain’s most valuable race meeting.  The prize monies exceed £6.58million and with so many races each day, there are many opportunities to pick a winner.  Thursday’s races include the historic Gold Cup and Saturday closes with The Group One Diamond Jubilee Stakes.
As it’s the Queen’s 90th birthday year, the celebrations will no doubt be spectacular as she continues to enjoy the event.  If you’re lucky enough to be attending Ascot, do share a photo with us!
