This month is national hobby month, and starting a new hobby is a great way to blow away those winter blues.

There has been some what of a revival of old crafts and trades over the past few years, and on the back of this we have seen an assortment of programmes popping up on our screens, from the ‘Great British Bake off’, to “The Sewing Bee’ to Kirstie Allsopp’s  ‘Home made home.’  And it seems that our passion for all things homemade doesn’t stop there.  High street craft shops and classes have been popping up all over Surrey, so if you have a desire to start a new hobby now’s the time to embrace it.
