The village of Shalford is located close to Guildford and is surrounded by beautiful open countryside including woodlands and the River Wey, which offers superb fishing along certain stretches. Much of the local land, including Shalford Mill, is managed by the National Trust, and Shalford Old Village became a conservation area in 1973.  It dates back more than a thousand years and was named in the 1086 Domesday book as Scaldefor.
There is a thriving village community and which has annually been home to a fair on the green for many years.  The pubs, in particular The Seahorse, and shops are very welcoming, offering a chance to meet up with friends and enjoy delicious home style food without the washing up!
A wide range of schools, including Shalford’s own infant school, provide a high standard of education for children within easy reach of Shalford itself.
The village has its own station on the Reading to Gatwick line; in addition it offers train journeys to London Waterloo via Guildford, taking under an hour. Alternatively, nearby Guildford has excellent rail links to London Waterloo and direct train journeys can take as little 34 minutes.  The A3 provides a fast road route both east and west, and the south coast is within easy reach.
Goodfellows are pleased to offer four beautiful newly constructed homes overlooking Shalford Green.  The well appointed kitchen entertaining space opens out onto the courtyard gardens and there is separate living room with a log burner.  Three good sized bedrooms on the first floor, with en suite to the master bedroom, whilst stairs  lead up to a fourth bedroom or study space on the top floor.
