The London Borough of Sutton has a unique feel and includes a number of ‘villages’. Belmont, Cheam and Carshalton are often referred to locally as the ‘village’ and have high streets with newsagents, chemists, coffee shops and gift shops.  The borough also has its own theatres and libraries, as well as a number of historically listed buildings including Honeywood House, Whitehall and Little Holland House.

Education is excellent in the borough, with many schools rated by Ofsted as Outstanding.  There is a wide choice of Grammar, Comprehensive and Independent schools, with children flourishing throughout all ages and stages of their education.

With golf courses, parks, open green spaces and sports clubs, you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to health and fitness activities.  If you are looking for specialist sport, the Sutton Tennis Academy is one of the top tennis academies in the UK.  The facilities offer fantastic courts, fitness equipment and coaches, as well as the opportunity to combine tennis with education and accommodation nearby. Across the borough, there are plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes to enjoy socialising with friends and family of all ages.

Goodfellows have a number of properties for sale in the borough, conversion flats in Throwley Way, a development of 20 new build flats in Lavender Grove and two 4 bedroom semi-detached houses in Carshalton Beeches.  To find out more, please call our Land and New Homes Department on 020 8652 2929.
