Living on the edge of inner city London gives you fantastic access to the beautiful Surrey countryside. If a long country walk is not going to suit the entire family one Easter trip that offers a great family outing is to the award winning Bocketts Farm. It is a working family farm with a combination of animals and play areas, both inside and out, making it an all-weather attraction.
Over this Easter period from 1st - 18th April 2017 over 500 lambs are due to be born in the Big Animal Barn! At this time of year you may even be lucky enough to watch one being born. To find out more about our sheep and lambs they hold ‘Meet the Shepherd' sessions twice daily. If sheep are not your thing there are lots of cute baby chicks, bunnies and guinea pigs in Animal Handling sessions each day for smaller children and families to enjoy. For no extra charge over the holidays there is an Easter quiz trail with a chocolate treat for each child and the search for Easter Island in fun Storytelling sessions happens each day.
Other attractions include catch the pig race, take a pony ride, hop on board the tractor and trailer, and there are trampolines, giant slides, a bouncy pillow, 2 large indoor play barns and outdoor adventure trails, to run off some steam. You can also explore acres of outdoor play with tree house towers, pedal go-karts, and agility trails.
There is of course the end of the trip Tearooms in the Old Barn with plenty of homemade food to snack on before the end of the day.
