The 2014 Mitcham Carnival

Mitcham Carnival takes place this year on Saturday 14th June – from midday until 5pm – Three Kings Piece, Commonside West, Mitcham.  The theme for this year is Colours of the Commonwealth – it’s a celebration of and for the local community.
With a variety of activities there’s something to appeal to everyone, to either take part in or watch.  Gabz will be singing live on stage  – she was one of the few to reach the live finals on Britain’s Got Talent – she performed a song that she had written herself.  At only 14, she has already had a top ten single and achieved a lifetime ambition!
There will be a main stage and arena entertainment, a secondary music stage with more entertainment.  With a full size family fun fair, over 100 charity and trade stalls, there is plenty to see.  For the football fans, the Little League Tournament will take place in the main arena.  There will also be children’s entertainment, food stalls and refreshments.
Local events like this are wonderful opportunities to meet local people, raising money for charities and organisations which benefit the community.
