Three Cities Cycle Challenge – final day

Martin Humphreys– Goodfellows Estate Agency Director embarked on a Three Cities Cycle challenge for charity on Wednesday 8th June, 2016 leaving Crystal Palace and 4 days later arrived in Amsterdam. The team of cyclists cycled 500km in total travelling via Bruges.

The team is raising money for CLIC Sargent – an amazing charity that provides financial and emotional support for the families and children who have recently been diagnosed with cancer.

The final day turned out to be the hardest for the team, with 8 punctures in total, but luckily for Martin his bike was okay. The team also had to cycle through the rain having been so fortunate on the other days to have missed it. But to arrive at the finish and to have seen some most amazing sites has made the challenge so great.

Today, Sunday 12th June the group of cyclist head back to London via Eurostar where they meet their bikes having travelled back on the van.

The team has received massive support through sponsorship – including a great donation of £1000 from Right Move – and are nearly at their £15k target. To put this in perspective, £15,000 would keep one of the CLIC Sargent family properties running for three months. That’s up to 15 children and their families accommodated and cared for. Thanks for all of your donations to CLIC Sargent - it is still not too late to donate
