The wiki definition of a tree house is a “platform or buildings constructed around, next to or among the trunk or branches of one or more mature trees while above ground level”.  It immediately conjures up an image related to childhood, to a secret den or hideaway, up higher than grown-ups giving the occupants the ability to ‘spy’ and see what’s coming before it reaches them.
With most of us looking to inject fun and freedom into our lives wherever we can, why not create a tree house for grown-ups as well as children.  If you’ve got the space you can even make it into an office or outdoor chill out area.  There are exciting and innovative designs at The Treehouse Company, if you’re looking for inspiration check out their website for ideas
Fanny’s Farm shop located in the Surrey Hills, was created in 1979 and you can enjoy morning coffee or afternoon tea in the Treehouse in their beautiful garden – perfect for an indulgent and fun way to spend the day. Visit their website for more details about booking and location
Make the most of your outdoor space, it’s an ideal way to get close to nature but have all your home comforts within easy reach!
