Valentine’s Day

Celebrate the day this year on a Saturday – for many of us that means a whole day rather than an evening after work.  Maybe this year it’s a chance to do something more relaxed – a walk together in the Surrey countryside, or take in the sights with a walk through London.  If you fancy an unusual guided walk, why not try one of the Jack the Ripper walks – meet at Tower Hill and be entertained along the way – find out more here: http://www.jacktheripperwalk.com/

Many local hotels are offering a great weekend break with entertainment.  Or visit Denbies vineyard, which has a choice of evening events with great wine options – a Masquerade Ball with dinner and dancing or a six course tasting menu in the Gallery Restaurant.  During the Valentine’s weekend, there are wine and chocolate tasting tours.
If you’re looking to give a memorable gift, why not try Virgin Red Letter days – they offer portrait photo sessions, car racing days, dining experiences as well as winery and brewery tours, with prices to suit all pockets.

Alternatively, if you are single and looking for someone special, why not try one of the online dating sites – many of them are organising events this year so instead of trawling though hundreds of profiles, you can meet lots of people in one go and have a fun night out.
