When it comes to tennis there is nothing like Wimbledon and these championships will be offering a real treat as a couple of tennis greats look set to break more records. Federer has been one of the most popular Wimbledon champions and this year he will be playing to win just a couple of weeks shy of his 37th birthday. He has a huge fan base and many will be hoping he will be able to pick up his 8th Gentlemen’s title.
Much of the Ladies Championship attention will be focused on Serena Williams, has given the rest of the Ladies a shot at Slamming whilst she took a year out she is now back. Serena is a great Champion and she too will have the SW15 Ladies title as her goal. But the Ladies competition looks a little more open than the Gentlemen’s, at least according to the bookies. Serena is favourite at 4/1 you then have a ‘pack’ they say including Kvitova, Muguruza (Holder), Pliskova, Kerber and Sharapova all in the 7/1-10/1 bracket.
As ever Wimbledon have been taking strides to develop the site with the No.1 Court project.
