Personal Development

Everybody has a personal development plan which they meet on a 1-2-1 basis with a Director and or the Training Manager once a month.

Goals are set both from a career, results and a personal achievement basis and everyone is encouraged to pursue out of work goals especially family & charity/fund raising.

Lots of perks for staff

We realise that not all staff are driven by financial rewards so we try to offer additional recognition. This includes birthday breakfast, Property Manager of the month, family fun days, annual awards night, star performers trips, training and thank you cheques.

Leadership Pathway

It is imperative as a business to invest in our staff. At Goodfellows we believe in promoting internally and invest in talent development with Leadership Pathway, a management training/career development programme.

This is a 12-18 month course consisting of individual modules and focusses on developing our staff to be better managers. The programme itself includes a combination of classroom based and work-based learning activity.

In addition to the eight Leadership Pathway modules there are also a number of additional workshops that can be provided.

At the end of the training programme there is a 2 day residential module to demonstrate what you have learnt by delivering a presentation and share your business plan with senior managers from across the business.
