We put our house on the market in March 2024 and initially went with KFH, largely because we’d had previous dealings with them. Unfortunately, it didn’t go well this time. Over 16 weeks, we had just eight viewings. The property had been overvalued from the start, and we were encouraged to reduce the asking price almost immediately. This helped us make small changes to improve our chances of selling. When a sale fell through, Kerry and her team were incredible. They handled it with real care and empathy, and we genuinely felt supported through what was a tough time. They didn’t waste any time and soon secured a new buyer. Even after the sale was agreed, Kerry and Debbie stayed fully involved. They worked relentlessly to keep the chain moving, despite it turning out to be long and complicated. We had calls on their days off, regular updates, and a constant sense that they were pushing things forward behind the scenes. This phrase is used a lot but they went above and beyond. Kerry became more than just our estate agent. She felt like a friend. Someone who had our back and kept us sane. Debbie deserves a special mention too for her patience and determination.
