From beginning to end, Goodfellows are able to complete the circle.  We are involved with many shared ownership schemes in and around South London and Surrey.  Through active and efficient marketing, Goodfellows are able to find buyers and guide them through the purchasing process.  Accompanying every viewing, giving financial advice to buyers and securing mortgages, our staff are there to oversee every step.  Once the finances are in place, we can monitor the process through to exchange and finally completion.

We have regular sales meetings to ensure all parties are kept up to date.  After the chain has completed and the buyers move in, we’re there to help them sell when the time comes for them to move on.  The circle is completed and you can have total peace of mind knowing your investment is in safe hands.

Shared Ownership is a government-funded scheme designed to help people get on the property ladder.  It enables the buyer to purchase a share (usually between 25% and 75%) of the property, and pay the Housing Association rent on the remainder, at a level below the market value.  Our advisors can help work out what the buyer can afford so they are not overstretched financially.  Properties are available from 1 bedroom flats to 4 bedroom houses.  There are also a number of resales each year, homes which are owned through the shared ownership scheme, and are then being sold so their owners can move on.

Buying second hand or brand new shared ownership homes really does represent a unique opportunity for buyers to own their own home and avoid the rental trap. Why not chat to Goodfellows’ Stephen Munroe for full details on 020 8652 2929.
