Children’s Easter Bird Nests

The Easter holidays are a great time to get the children cooking and here’s a really easy recipe that they can work through with minimal adult intervention.
 
Ingredients
200g milk chocolate
85g crushed up shredded wheat
2 bags of mini eggs
 
Method
1 Crush the shredded wheat to look like twigs.
2 Melt the chocolate for a few minutes over just simmering water, or in the microwave for a few seconds.
3 Pour the melted chocolate over the shredded wheat and make sure it’s all covered.
4 Spoon into cup cases and push down firmly.
5 Place a few eggs on each nest and put them in the fridge to chill.
