Wimbledon is over for another year…

We say goodbye to another year of Wimbledon, and what an exciting men’s final it was last Sunday when Djokovic and Federer battled it out for the number one spot. It was a game that kept us on the edge of our seats, with Djokovic wining a two to one set advantage - it looked as though he had won the championship, until Federer then came back with a grand slam performance.
 
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge looked on as the 3 and half hour game went into the final fifth set, the score board at this point was exactly equal with Djokovic 2:3 and Federer 2:3, until Djokovic finally took the advantage, as Federer lost a nail biting two points in the final set.
 
However Wimbledon isn’t just about the tennis or the 28,000 kg of Strawberries and 7,000 litres of cream consumed, here some interesting statistics from this year’s Wimbledon Catering:
